Christian Collins and Drew Magnuson made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Collins pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Magnuson kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. At bat, Collins scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Magnuson scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Jack Collins was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. He also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season. Jack Frelich was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Saturday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Notre Dame Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .503. However, it's not like Green Bay Southwest struggles in that department as they've averaged .465. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
