Groveton had already won six in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.2 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 52-19 win over the Gorham Huskies. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Groveton's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Gorham, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Groveton is set to face off against their familiar foe Holy Family Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Gorham will challenge rival Epping at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
