While it was all tied up 6-6 at halftime, The Elgin Comets were not quite the Trimble Tomcats''s equal in the second half on Friday. Elgin was beaten by Trimble 37-6. It was the first time this season that Elgin let down their fans at home.
Elgin's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Trimble, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
Elgin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Trimble is on the road again on Friday and play against Northmor at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Northmor is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
