Micai Thompson Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Brennan picked up their sixth consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Micai Thompson. Thompson was excellent, rushing for 145 yards and five touchdowns on only ten carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (103.5).
On the season, Thompson has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 103.5 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had five rushing touchdowns.

This season, Trotter has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 168.3 passing yards per game.

Chauncey Moon Delivers Electric Performance Vs Taft
Chauncey Moon posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He rushed for 178 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, and also threw for 17 yards and a touchdown.
Moon and Sotomayor will venture away from home to square off against Warren at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Moon will face off against Davian Gonzales, the Warriors' star QB. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Cayden Glass posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Saturday. He rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 46 yards and a touchdown.
This year, Glass has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 146.8 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 17.33 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 56.33 rushing yards.

Jake Garza Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Jake Garza of O'Connor. Garza threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 40 yards.
With the win, O'Connor broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. Garza and O'Connor will take on Holmes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
