The Palmer Dragons were the 48-43 winner over the Bruce Trojans when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Palmer took a serious blow against Bruce on Friday, falling 52-24. Palmer has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bruce was led to victory by Laken Corbitt and A'toria Knox. Corbitt scored 23 points along with three steals, while Knox dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Knox has scored at least a third of Bruce's points.
Palmer's loss was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.2 points per game. As for Bruce, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season.
Palmer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bruce also has no future games currently scheduled.
