The Seneca Bobcats will face off against the Pendleton Bulldogs at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Seneca is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5  runs per game  this season.
Seneca is probably headed into the  contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Easley just ended the team's  three-game winning streak  on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Green Wave by a score of  5-4. The loss was the Bobcats' first of the season.
 William Cutshall put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out eight batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Cutshall was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run.
 In other batting news,  Tyler Vassey made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  double. That  home run marked the first that  he  launched this season. Another player making a difference was  Joey McGovern, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run and one  double.
 Even though they lost, Seneca  lost a few balls and  finished the game with three  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Pendleton got themselves on the board against Pickens on Tuesday, but Pickens never followed suit. Everything went their way against the Blue Flame as they made off with  a  15-0 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Blue Flame recently, as the game was their third consecutive  win against them.
 The team  relied heavily on  Cam Williams, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those  four  runs gave  him a new career-high.  Trey Garrison was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base.
 The  victory  got Pendleton back to even at 1-1. As for Seneca, their  loss was their first of the  season and  makes their record 3-1.
