Caleb Camden was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. Wolfson is undefeated when Camden allowstwo or fewer hits, but 4-8 otherwise. Camden was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Miles Charboneau was excellent, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Jaydin Morrissey also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Wolfson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Wolfson's record is now 7-8. As for Bradford, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
Looking ahead, Wolfson will head out on the road to take on Sandalwood at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sandalwood will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Wolfson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bradford, they will welcome Hilliard at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hilliard has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.67 runs per game on average), something Bradford will no doubt try to take advantage of.
