The Loomis Wolves scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top against Hitchcock County by a score of 65-55. Winning may never get old, but Loomis sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Loomis' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cale Nelson, who scored 24 points. Those 24 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Zac Rademaker, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
The win got Loomis back to even at 5-5. As for Hitchcock County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Loomis and Brady will face off at 7:45 p.m. on January 2, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Brady has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5. Hitchcock County's road trip will continue as they head out to face Southwest on January 2, 2024. Southwest has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
