Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Freeport). They breezed by the Cape Elizabeth Capers to the tune of 55-16 on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory made it two in a row for Freeport and bumps their season record up to 2-2. As for Cape Elizabeth, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Freeport Falcons take on the Mt. Ararat Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cape Elizabeth, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Mountain Valley at 3:00 p.m.
