Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Strake Jesuit). They took down the Washington Eagles 78-62 on Saturday.

Washington lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Donovan Jackson, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Aaron Dixon, who scored 15 points.

Strake Jesuit has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.1 points over those games. As for Washington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-3.

Coming up, Strake Jesuit will take on Oak Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Washington, they will face off against Wheatley at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
