Manchester is 0-10 against the Titans since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Manchester Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Triway Titans at 7:00 p.m. Manchester will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 528th, while the Titans are ranked 153rd).
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 59-21, which was the final score in Manchester's tilt against the Mustangs on Wednesday. Manchester has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Triway had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 60-42 win over Canton Central Catholic. Triway pushed the score to 49-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Crusaders cut but never quite recovered from.
Manchester has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Triway, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home.
Manchester took a serious blow against the Titans in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 69-24. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Manchester was down 44-16.
