There's no place like home for the Reading Rangers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They strolled past Quincy with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 56-40. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Reading also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Aubree Ervans was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Reading's points. Jenna Londeau was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
The victory got Reading back to even at 5-5. As for Quincy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Reading will head out on the road to face off against Concord at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Concord is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games. As for Quincy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bronson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bronson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Quincy in Michigan (Bronson is ranked 149th, while Quincy is ranked 605th).
