Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Albany). They blew past the Bogalusa Lumberjacks 18-3 on Thursday. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Lumberjacks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Albany pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Bogalusa, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Albany will welcome Doyle at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Doyle will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Albany surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bogalusa, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against St. Helena College and Career Academy on the 22nd.
