After two weeks on the road, Pekin is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Durant at 7:00 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
Pekin put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They put a hurting on Belle Plaine to the tune of 62-22.
Meanwhile, Durant might be getting used to good results now that the team has five wins in a row. They took their game against B-G-M by a conclusive 28-7 score. The rankings were on Durant's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.
Their wins bumped Durant to 6-2 and Pekin to 5-3. After the teams both made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
