The Grant Pacers and the La Serna Lancers squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Grant Pacers had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 21-19. Grant's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Grant had strong showings from Wayshawn Parker, who rushed for 148 yards and a touchdown, and Devin Green, who rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. Parker set a new season high mark in carries with 28.
Grant's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for La Serna, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.
Grant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. La Serna also has no future games currently scheduled.
