 Simla found their leader in freshman  Kinlee Cox, who  had 16  assists and 11  aces. With that strong performance,  Cox is now averaging an impressive 2.1  aces per game.  Ava Leininger was another key player,  getting seven  aces and three  digs.
Monument Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Simla, the  victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 20-2.
 Monument Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Simla, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  win against Sedgwick County on the 1st.
