Gavin Stambaugh Dazzles in Smoky Valley Victory
Starting off the list is Smoky Valley's Gavin Stambaugh, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stambaugh rushed for 225 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.
Nickerson's probably not too fond of Stambaugh given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Stambaugh saw the Panthers), he rushed for 159 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry.

Wilson Made His Presence Known in Pratt's 36-7 Win
Taye Wilson posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
Pratt's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Wilson and Pratt will head out to challenge Cheney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Wray Posts Huge Game in 42-7 Win
Haven found a leader in Nash Wray as the squad took down Chaparral on Friday. Wray was unstoppable, throwing for 136 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes, while also rushing for 64 yards on only seven carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made four total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
Haven pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Wray and Haven will face off against Kingman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Joey Millspaugh Leads Halstead over Southeast of Saline
Sadly, Joey Millspaugh posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Halstead over Southeast of Saline on Friday. Millspaugh rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also picked up 48 receiving yards.
For the season, Millspaugh has averaged 18.6 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 32.71 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 78 rushing yards.

Ezekiel Baker Delivers Best Performance of Season
Ezekiel Baker produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Smoky Valley to the win on Friday. Baker rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns.
On the season, Baker has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 81 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns.
