In what's become a running theme this season, the James River HomeSchool Eagles gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Farmville Homeschool 75-28 at home. While fans of James River HomeSchool might be used to big wins, the 47-point margin marked the team's biggest victory yet this season.
Matthew Thomas continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 32 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Woodworth, who scored nine points.
James River HomeSchool pushed their record up to 12-7 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Farmville Homeschool, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
James River HomeSchool will be playing in front of their home fans against Grove Christian School at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully James River HomeSchool focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday. Farmville Homeschool's road trip will continue as they head out to face Salem Christian at 6:30 p.m. on February 13th. Salem Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
