North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-62 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Colonels. One positive for the Polar Bears, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

North's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for South, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North will host Doherty Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Doherty Memorial knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully North likes a good challenge. As for South, they will take on Burncoat at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Burncoat is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 71.8 points per game this season.
