The Miami Valley Rams had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.1 points), and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They came out on top against Emmanuel Christian Academy by a score of 63-50. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Miami Valley also won the last time the pair played back in January.
It was another big night for Matteo Boni, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Jacob Barnard was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Miami Valley pushed their record up to 12-3 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Emmanuel Christian Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-10.
Miami Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-52 victory vs. Twin Valley South on the 10th. Emmanuel Christian Academy has also already played their next match, a 56-34 defeat against Franklin Monroe on the 10th.
