Mayfield's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 24-1 margin over the Kenwood Knights. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 11 runs or more this season.

Mayfield pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games.
