Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Overton). Everything went their way against the McGavock Raiders on Tuesday as they made off with a 4-1 win. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Overton with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Overton and bumps their season record up to 3-3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two games. As for McGavock, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Overton will head out to square off against Clarksville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clarksville's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Overton's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for McGavock, they will challenge Liberty Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. McGavock's defense better be ready for this one: Liberty Creek have averaged an impressive 4.2 goals per game this season.
