Gananda Central lost on Wednesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Miles Caviness, who scored 20 points. The matchup was Caviness' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Vogt, who scored 18 points.
The win was the fifth in a row for Lyons, bringing their record for this year to 8-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.0 points per game. As for Gananda Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Lyons will head out on the road to face off against Avon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gananda Central, they will be playing at home against Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Marion is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
