Herriman extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Cale Barclay. The Herriman Mustangs breezed by the Shawnee Wolves to the tune of 75-34 on Saturday thanks in part to Barclay, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in November of 2023.

Another player making a difference was Stockton Blanchard, who posted 14 points and seven rebounds. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Herriman's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Shawnee, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Herriman will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Juan Diego Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. After both having extra time off, Shawnee and Booker T. Washington will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
