It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact McGehee can now relate to. They lost 61-40 to the Harding Academy Wildcats on Wednesday. The Owls' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Harding Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Claire Citty, who shot 41% from the field to rack up 24 points in addition to seven assists and seven rebounds. The match was Citty's ninth in a row with at least 15 points. Emery Wilson was another key player, putting up 17 points.

McGehee's loss dropped their record down to 21-5. As for Harding Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season.

McGehee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harding Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-49 win against Manila on the 7th.
