The Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Boulder City Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Mater Academy East Las Vegas is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas' tournament run continued when they took on Carson on Wednesday. Mater Academy East Las Vegas came out on top against Carson by a score of 10-5.

Jacob Herrera was excellent, going 2-for-4 with four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Virrueta, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last match, Boulder City made sure to put some runs up on the board against Rancho on Wednesday. Boulder City walked away with an 11-8 win over Rancho. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Gavin Robinson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has become a key player for Boulder City: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-7 otherwise. Robinson was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cael Starley, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Spencer Aten was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas' record is now 6-4. As for Boulder City, their record now sits at 6-7.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas' speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's game. Mater Academy East Las Vegas has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.4 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Boulder City, though, as they've been averaging only 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Mater Academy East Las Vegas continue to outrun the ball?
