Jackson has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Monday. They will challenge the North Miami Beach Chargers at 3:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 45-17, which was the final score in Jackson's tilt against Homestead on Friday.
Meanwhile, North Miami Beach couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a rough 57-8 loss at the hands of Pine Forest.
Despite their loss, North Miami Beach saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Yoshaney Cayaso, who scored 1 points along with 10 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all.
Their wins bumped Jackson to 1-1 and Homestead to 3-0.
Jackson was able to grind out a solid victory over North Miami Beach when the teams last played back in December of 2022, winning 28-16. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jackson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
