Corey Vann continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 10 rebounds. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Andrew Sepulveda, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 steals.
Despite the defeat, Julian saw an underclassman step up: Pete Vanderstaay scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenny Morytko, who scored 7 points.
