On Saturday, Davis strolled past Central Kitsap with points to spare, taking the game 44-29. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Davis has scored all season.
Kaleb Gee was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 14 points along with three steals. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for him. Alden Mccabe was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Davis' victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Central Kitsap, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.
Davis and Pleasant Grove will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Pleasant Grove focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Saturday. As for Central Kitsap, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Yelm at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Yelm is ranked 255th, while Central Kitsap is ranked 275th).
