The Bishop Canevin Crusaders had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They managed a 47-41 win over Keystone Oaks on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Bishop Canevin, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Bishop Canevin can attribute much of their success to Daniel Guzman, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 19 rebounds.
Bishop Canevin's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Keystone Oaks, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Brashear the next time they take the court. Keystone Oaks will host Brashear at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Bishop Canevin will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
