Hunter Najm went supernova for Aliso Niguel, rushing for 82 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 175 yards and a touchdown on only 16 passes. Jarett Sabol was another key contributor, rushing for 89 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, San Juan Hills' good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 24-17 to Trabuco Hills. San Juan Hills had a rough season last year, but they look ready to turn that poor record around this year.
Aliso Niguel's win bumped their season record to 6-3 while San Juan Hills' defeat dropped theirs to 8-1.
