This season hasn't been kind to the Dove Science Academy Raptors, who are still winless after their fourth match. They were beaten by Muskogee 71-4 on Thursday. Dove Science Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-1.
Muskogee's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaslynn Gandy, who scored 16 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gandy has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Malaysia Burton, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Dove Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Muskogee, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dove Science Academy will take on Claremore Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Muskogee won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Will Rogers College on January 19th.
