 On Colby's side, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ryler Carter, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Cimarron pushed their record up to 9-2 with that  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road. As for Colby, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cimarron beat Colby by a score of  18-1 later that day.
