The Neosho Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 57-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Parkview. Neosho was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Parkview apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.
Among those leading the charge was Brooklynn Masten, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Parkview's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Hall, who scored 15 points along with six assists and three steals.
Neosho has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Parkview, their win bumped their record up to 1-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neosho on the road again on Thursday and play against McDonald County at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. McDonald County is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games. As for Parkview, they will head out on the road to challenge Branson at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Branson will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
