2A District 3 recap November 13, 2013
Trinity Christian Academy lost to Orangewood Christian 35-13 last week, the largest margin of any game. Torrance Gibson ran for 138 yards in the defeat.
Warner Christian led 2A District 3 in scoring this week by notching 41 points on Admiral Farragut.
Trinity Christian Academy's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dillon Smith has thrown for 627 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Amorie Archibald has 15 catches for 255 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Warner Christian takes on second place St. Edward's. Last week, the Eagles beat the Bluejackets, while St. Edward's lost to Jupiter Christian.
