Caravel might have drawn first blood against Edmondson-Westside on Saturday, but it was Edmondson-Westside who got the last laugh. Caravel took a hard 9-26 fall against Edmondson-Westside. Caravel are ranked 12th in the state (73 spots ahead of Edmondson-Westside), so the defeat was all the more frustrating.
The loss dropped Caravel's record to 0-1. The win bumped Edmondson-Westside's record up to 2-0.
Caravel will be staying on the road next week, facing off against St. Mark's. As for Edmondson-Westside, they will face off against Digital Harbor.
