Bryson Brown Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Milton had to settle for second even though Bryson Brown put up the best numbers he has all season. Brown picked up 184 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 72 yards.
Milton is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8. Brown and Milton will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pace at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.

Johnny Lewis Jr Has Career Rushing Day
Johnny Lewis Jr produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Niceville to the win on Friday. Lewis Jr rushed for 197 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Niceville pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Lewis Jr and Niceville will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Navarre at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.

Mosley Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Sammy Freitas
Mosley picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Sammy Freitas. Arnold had no answer to Freitas as he threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns while completing 92.3% of his passes.
Arnold had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Freitas it was a similar story. When Freitas last faced the Marlins back in September of 2023, he threw for 139 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
