For Elm Creek, this counts as revenge for the 44-40 loss Sumner-Eddyville-Miller walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.
Elm Creek found their leader in underclassman Quin Oberg, who scored 24 points along with 6 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Oberg has scored at least 25% of Elm Creek's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kade Sindt, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Sumner-Eddyville-Miller lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jace Rosentreader. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds. Cohen Rohde was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 6 rebounds.
