East Valley Athletes for Christ extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Ryan Anderson. The East Valley Athletes for Christ Eagles really took it to the Mission Heights Prep Phantoms for the full four quarters, racking up an 81-46 victory thanks in part to Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (four).

East Valley Athletes for Christ's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Mission Heights Prep, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Valley Athletes for Christ will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on BASIS - Chandler at 6:15 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
