Summit Christian Academy and Lutheran are an even 5-5 against one another  since October of 2014, but  not for long.  Meanwhile, Lutheran was able to grind out a solid  victory over Wellington-Napoleon on Wednesday, taking the game  3-1.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-27, 26-24,  25-16.
  Becca Unthank and  Hailee Nading were among the main playmakers for Lutheran as the former  had eight  digs and two  aces and the latter  had three  aces and a  block. The dominant performance gave  Nading a new career-high in  aces.
 Summit Christian Academy's win  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 4-5-1. As for Lutheran,  the  victory also got them back to even at 2-2.
 Summit Christian Academy took their  win against Lutheran  in their previous meeting  back in October of 2023 by a conclusive  3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Summit Christian Academy since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
