It was a good run, but York unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Smithfield Packers, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, York's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

York's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Smithfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. York will host Jamestown at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Jamestown will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something York surely won't give up without a fight. As for Smithfield, they will square off against Menchville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
