Ellwood Christian suffered their biggest loss since November 10, 2023 on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Autaugaville, falling 78-17. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ellwood Christian has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Tallassee waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They beat Beauregard by the very same score they won with last week: 61-49.
Rowen Thornton was his usual excellent self, scoring 30 points.
Ellwood Christian bumped their record down to 1-16 with that loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.6 points per game. As for Tallassee, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Ellwood Christian took a serious blow against Tallassee in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 79-38.
