In what's become a running theme this season, the Aquinas Blugolds gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They breezed by Tomah on the road to the tune of 82-41. The victory was familiar territory for Aquinas who now have three in a row.
It was another big night for Samantha Davis, who scored 27 points along with six rebounds and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last 15 games she's played. Madeline Murphy was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Aquinas' win was their 14th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.9 points per game. As for Tomah, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aquinas will take on La Crosse Central at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. La Crosse Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 228th, while Aquinas is ranked 31st). As for Tomah, they will be playing at home against Osseo-Fairchild at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
