The Manteno Panthers will square off against the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Manteno is probably headed into the  contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Beecher just ended the team's  nine-match winning streak  on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of  2-1.
 In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Manteno sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 23-25,  25-21.
Meanwhile, Bishop McNamara didn't have quite enough to beat Manteno on Monday and fell  2-1. While the Fightin' Irish didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers  25-20 in the first  set.
 Bishop McNamara started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-18,  25-23.
 Manteno will have to keep a close watch on  Camille Czako and  Montana Reid, a pair of players who had a big impact on Bishop McNamara's prior game. Czako  had 17  assists and five  digs, while  Reid  had 16  assists and three  digs.
 Bishop McNamara's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Manteno, their loss dropped their record down to 29-5.
 Manteno came out on top in a nail-biter against Bishop McNamara in their previous meeting  on Monday, sneaking past  2-1. Do  the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Fightin' Irish turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
