Another player making a difference was Ava Moore, who went 5 for 10 en route to 13 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.
Mercy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Assumption, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mercy Jaguars take on the Whitefield Academy Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Whitefield Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Assumption, they will challenge Highlands at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Highlands has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three matches.
