On Friday, things could have been worse for Prattville Christian Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 61-44 loss to Jacksonville. While losing is never fun, Prattville Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 271st, while Jacksonville is ranked 61st).
Among those leading the charge was Sean Herbert, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Nixon, who scored ten points.
Prattville Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Jacksonville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
Prattville Christian Academy will be playing at home against Montgomery Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jacksonville and Ramsay will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
