Hot Springs will be playing at home against Sturgis Brown at at 6:00 PM on Thursday. Hot Springs are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Last Friday, Hot Springs put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Douglas to the tune of 46-0. No one put up better numbers for Hot Springs than senior Morgan S. harkless, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 65 yards and 2 touchdowns. S. harkless has now scored at least one touchdown in the past four games.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their match two weeks ago against Yankton, Sturgis Brown were happy to find some success last Friday. Sturgis Brown enjoyed a cozy 42-22 win over Pine Ridge.
Their wins bumped Sturgis Brown to 4-6 and Hot Springs to 6-2. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
