Sebastian Pupo continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 43 points along with five assists and five steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Hialeah Gardens' points. Another player making a difference was Max Johnson, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Hialeah Gardens' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. As for Hialeah, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-1.
Hialeah Gardens will be home for the holidays to greet Schoolhouse Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Schoolhouse Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 577th, while Hialeah Gardens is ranked 148th). As for Hialeah, they will head out on the road to face off against Westland Hialeah at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
