Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Blake Oglialoro, who posted 16 points and three blocks. The dominant performance gave Oglialoro a new career-high in blocks. Greg Grochowiak also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.
Saucon Valley had a senior duo take command as Adam Clark dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards and Jack Robertson went 6 of 15 en route to 18 points and three steals. Clark is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 19 or more in the last three games he's played. Andrew Gilbert was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.
Palisades' loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Saucon Valley, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4.
