Bishop Eustace Prep got a great performance from Eamon McDermott as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. McDermott has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Gabe Yates was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season.
Bishop Eustace Prep pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Moorestown, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
